The Demain AGD-125H was a budget 125mm (5in) angle grinder. The brand is no longer visible in the market and there is no parts or warranty channel.
The angle grinder is the tool most worth buying properly
It is also the tool people most often buy cheaply, because they all look alike. Three differences are worth paying for, and only one of them is power.
A guard that adjusts without tools and locks positively. Grinder guards get moved constantly as the work changes. A guard that needs a spanner gets removed and left off, which is how people get hurt. This is not a minor convenience feature.
Restart protection. If the switch is a paddle or has a no-volt release, the grinder cannot start by itself when power returns. A locked-on grinder that jumps to life on a bench is a genuine hazard.
Bearing quality and cooling. Grinders live in abrasive dust and run at full load continuously. Cheap ones fail at the bearings, usually within a year of real use.
Watts matter less than any of that. A 750W grinder and a 1000W grinder both cut steel; the second just does it slightly faster with a heavier tool.
Discs
Entirely generic and never brand-locked: 125mm discs fit any 125mm grinder with a 22.2mm bore. Two rules are worth stating because they are what actually causes accidents.
Check the expiry date on bonded abrasive discs. They have one. Old resin-bonded discs fail.
Match the disc to the job. A cutting disc used for grinding on its face can shatter. Thin cut-off discs are for cutting only.
What to buy
The DEWALT DWE402, linked below, is a conventional 125mm grinder with a tool-free guard adjustment and a dust-ejection system designed to push abrasive dust out rather than through the bearings. It is not exciting, and that is the point in this category.
If you cut more than you grind, a cordless grinder on a platform you already own is far more pleasant for short jobs — no lead to drag around a workpiece you are cutting on the floor.
