The HD2G250M was a corded percussion hammer drill from GMC, the Australian budget brand that went into receivership in 2008. No parts, no warranty, no support.
Keeping a corded drill alive
Corded tools age well because there is no battery to strand them. Two parts wear.
Carbon brushes are a cheap consumable. On a generic tool where the manufacturer is gone, measure the old brushes and search by dimensions — generic brushes in the right size work fine.
The cord, which fails at the strain relief where it leaves the body. Replace it or retire the tool; a damaged cord on a metal-bodied drill is not a thing to run.
The chuck is the other consideration. If it will not grip a bit squarely, or a long bit visibly wobbles, the drill will not drill straight and the fix costs more than the tool is worth.
Percussion is not rotary hammer
Worth knowing before you replace like for like.
A percussion hammer drill has two ridged plates that ratchet against each other as the chuck turns, tapping the bit forward. It will put anchor holes in brick and soft block, slowly.
A rotary hammer uses a piston to strike the bit directly. In concrete it is not slightly faster, it is several times faster, and it does not require you to lean on it.
If the hammer function is why you owned this drill, buy a cheap SDS rotary hammer. It will change what masonry work feels like.
